Nnamdi Ibegbu, S.A.N., F.C.I.Arb, is an accomplished legal professional with significant experience in the legal field and a focus on taxation. He holds an LLB. Hons from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (S.A.N.). He also obtained the A.C.I.Arb and F.C.I.Arb designations in arbitration. Nnamdi Ibegbu’s career history spans various roles, including Pupil State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice, pupillage under Chief Chike Ofodile, SAN, and subsequent practice in his late father’s chambers.

Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in legal associations, serving as Vice Chairman of the N.B.A. Onitsha Branch and holding roles in the Law Reporting Committee and the Legal Practitioners’ Disciplinary Committee. He was appointed Commissioner of the Tax Appeal Tribunal and later became Acting Chairman of the Tax Appeal Tribunal, Abuja Zone.

In addition to his legal roles, Nnamdi Ibegbu has been a prominent figure in the legal community, serving as Chairman of the General Purposes Committee for the NBA National and Chairman of the Senior Advocates of Nigeria Screening Committee for eight years, until 2022.

Outside of his legal endeavors, Nnamdi Ibegbu enjoys various activities such as jogging, aerobics, reading, and traveling. He has traveled extensively, including visits to Egypt, South Africa, the U.S.A., the UK, Cyprus, and Jerusalem. Additionally, he invests in real estate.
